The North Highline Unincorporated Council (NHUAC) is one of six King County Unincorporated Area Councils established in 1996 as part of King County Citizens Participation Initiative with the primary goals of:
- Improve citizen access to information and services provided by King County
- Make county services convenient to and available in local communities
- Improve opportunities for meaningful involvement by unincorporated area residents in decisions regarding the future of their communities
The volunteer board members are residents of North Highline who provide a venue for ongoing communication between unincorporated area residents and King County.
